iba 2012 - A Great Success

Our team just returned from iba 2012 after a very successful show. Shick exhibited the latest technology featuring Integrated Solutions for Ingredient Automation. iba 2012 hosted 70,000 visitors from 177 countries and 1,250 exhibitors. It was six days of exciting innovations in 12 halls where Bakers and Confectioners worldwide exchanged ideas and innovations for the coming years. We will see you at iba 2015 in Munich - September 2015.

Timothy P. Cook Joins Shick as
Chief Operating Officer

Shick, headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri, announces the appointment of Timothy P. Cook as Chief Operating Officer (COO). Mr. Cook has an impressive background with over 20 years of industry leadership, with experience in business development and operations management. Most recently, Tim served as Vice President of Sales, Marketing & Product Management at AMF Bakery Systems and currently serves on the Executive Committee of the American Society of Baking (ASB) and is a past Board Member of the Packaging Machinery Manufacturing Institute (PMMI).

“Tim’s energetic, market-driven leadership is a valuable addition to our team”, said Joe Ungashick, President and CEO of ShickUSA. “His presence will enhance our ability to deliver consistent quality experiences to all of our customers and partners.” Tim Cook stated “ShickUSA is a highly respected organization and I am thrilled with the opportunity provided through my new role as COO. I will have an intense focus on continued innovation and execution as our means of delivering value to our customers one project at a time.

Tim is a product of the Midwest and graduate of the University of Kansas. Shick is excited to welcome Tim, his wife Hunter, and their sons Connor and Ian, to Kansas City and the Shick team.

Shick wins Outstanding Achievement Award for booth design at IBIE 2010

Shick along with Motif Events and Lawrence Fabric and Metal Structures were awarded the Outstanding Achievement Award for Interior Design at the 2011 International Achievement Awards.  This award was given for the exhibit at IBIE 2010 in Las Vegas, NV.
